At VDC Group, we pride ourselves on offering you only the finest quality service, whether we’re providing you with our CD duplication services in the UK or our interesting industry insider blog. As regular visitors to our blog will no doubt be aware, we work hard and we play hard here at VDC, and as such we thought we would play a little harder today and offer you the first in a new series. Here we will take a look at some of the strangest, and arguably coolest, musician cameos on either the silver or smaller screen.
The first part of series takes us across the pond to some of the most famous TV shows to hit your optic nerve. So, let’s start with one of the largest, cameo-drenched TV shows there is… The Simpsons.
The Ramones – The Simpsons
The Ramones have held their own on the punk scene since before nappy pins had ever been introduced as a nasal accessory. This cameo sees the New York quartet make an appearance for Mr. Burn’s birthday in an attempt to lighten the town’s spirits, although it doesn’t end quite as Burnsy anticipated.
Stevie Wonder – The Cosby Show
Tom Morello – Star Trek
When music gets serious it can get pretty serious, so it’s nice to see that there are some musicians who enjoy taking a break from this and embrace a bit of light-heartedness. So, to witness more strange guest appearances from musicians, don’t forget to join us again for the next part in our TV and Film Cameos: Musicians series, and see which other musicians have decided to put on a bit of foundation and dress-up in the name of good ol’ fashioned entertainment.
Until then, there’s no better place to enjoy musicians than in their natural habitat… the studio! So if you have any personal CDs that you would like the world to hear, then don’t hesitate to get in touch for our duplication services. You can contact us on 0208 963 3555, where we are always excited to get you heard! Alternatively, you can always find us on Facebook and Twitter, where you can keep up-to-date with all things VDC!
